Junior High can be one of the most challenging and rewarding grades in a student’s education. There are different subjects, new activities, and, yes, more homework!
Junior high plays a significant role in future academic performance and achievement. The reason is that the foundation for academic readiness develops in grades 7, 8, and 9. Students develop more mature and abstract ways of thinking. In other words, strong results in junior high school translate into a more successful post-secondary experience.
By studying areas that are relevant, challenging, and exploratory, the student will naturally begin to develop an interest in various subjects and begin the process of considering future academic and career options.
